PRP Plus is Dr Mwamba’s own enhanced PRP protocol, which is more comfortable, comprehensive and efficient at reversing inflammation and stopping hair loss than any other standard PRP treatment.

Unlike conventional PRP treatments offered by most clinics at FUE CLINIC we do not use PPP to save costs which is highly ineffective, and we take several extra steps to ensure that this treatment is as potent as possible with a high success rate and a virtually painless procedure

What is PRP Plus?

PRP Plus consists of PRF injections into the scalp as well as in depth 2mm microneedling with PRP over the affected are as well as a bottle with growth factors to take home and use once a week in between treatments (Trichoxidil 5%)

Every session also includes a complimentary 30-minute led light laser therapy session to increase the speed of wound healing and further boost blood supply to the scalp.

How does a normal session look like?

While PRP is a fast-acting growth factor containing 5 times more platelets than regular, PRF is a slow acting fibrin which continues to release growth factors for two to three weeks on the scalp after your treatment and 20 is times more potent and effective than PRP with both higher concentrations of growth factors and stem cells. MesoMetto on the other hand is a vegan and natural growth factor stimulant and DHT inhibitor solution that gives us the possibility for patients to continue treatment from home with a dermapen in between their PRP Plus sessions.

1) Your blood is drawn and separated in 2 tubes (one for PRF and one for PRP)

2) A Three step local anesthetic is applied on strategic places on your scalp for a painless treatment.

3) PPP (Platelet poor Plasma) is separated from PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) securing that we only inject the most powerful growth factors and stem cells into the affected area.

4) Microneedling is carried out at a 2mm depth is performed throughout the entire affected area to activate growth factors

5) PRP is then gently massaged into the fresh wounds to be absorbed through thousands of micro holes.

6) A 30-minute intense laser level session is carried out with the most powerful and effective laser therapy on the market which stimulates healing of the entire area that has been treated.

Virtually painless

At FUE CLINIC we want to ensure PRP Plus and all our treatments are as pain free as possible. To make the procedure as comfortable as possible for your patients we have developed a three-step local anesthesia protocol to ensure painless injections. We apply 5% topical lidocaine to the entry points and let it act for 30 minutes while we prepare the PRP. Then, we inject the numbing points bicarbonate (a PH neutral local anesthetic) with an insulin needle. After a few minutes when the strategic entry points are numb, we inject Lidocaine (a stronger local anesthetic) which the patient doesn’t feel. This local anesthetic travels through peripheral nerves and numbs an entire area of the scalp which is then ready to be treated.

The entire procedure takes an hour, and you can drive back home or go back to work the very next day,

We recommend one sessions every 3 months for the first year and one every 6 months after for maintenance

A bottle of MesoMetto or Trichoxidil will be giving to you to use in between sessions to use once a week with a dermapen at 0.5mm
